NOT ALL STAND-UP POUCHES ARE CREATED EQUAL

Conventional stand-up pouches can look beautifully simple, but many are actually complex multi-layer laminates made from different petrochemical-based plastics and other materials bonded together.

These layers provide excellent barrier, strength and sealing performance — but they can also make the finished pouch difficult to recover through conventional household recycling systems.

We wanted to design for what happens next.

Salty stand-up pouches are made from certified AS5810 home-compostable materials, providing an alternative pathway at the end of the pouch's useful life.

Use it. Reuse it where practical. Then home compost it.
