Our Kraft Home Compostable Stand-Up Pouches combine a natural, tactile aesthetic with the functionality brands expect from modern flexible packaging.

Designed for businesses looking to move away from conventional flexible plastic, our kraft pouches are made from certified AS5810 home-compostable materials while providing the strength, sealing performance and premium shelf presence your product needs.

Available in five sizes from 70 g through to 1 kg, with custom printing and manufacturing available from 2,000 units.

NOT ALL KRAFT POUCHES ARE CREATED EQUAL

Traditional kraft pouches can look like paper, without actually being recyclable as paper and also not able to be recycled in soft plastic recycling. Many conventional kraft stand-up pouches are complex multi-layer laminates combining paper with petrochemical-based plastic films and other barrier layers. These materials are bonded together to provide strength, barrier and sealing performance.

They work extremely well as packaging, but their mixed-material construction can make the finished pouch difficult to recover through conventional household recycling systems.

We wanted to design for what happens next.

Our kraft stand-up pouches are made using certified AS5810 home-compostable materials, providing an alternative to conventional fossil-based multi-laminate flexible packaging.

Use it. Reuse it where practical. Then home compost it.
