When we first created Misty Lady, we set out to prove that food could be vacuum sealed without relying on conventional, non-recyclable fossil-plastic vacuum bags.

But we didn't stop there. After nine months, we pulled Misty off the market and worked hard to re-engineer and completely rebuild her to make her stronger, more durable, work across a wider range of industries and ensure she was certified AS5810 Home Compostable as a finished product.

We have continued to develop, test and significantly re-engineer Misty Lady, improving the material construction, strength, durability, engineering and adding an emboss to the film and real-world performance of the finished bag.

The result is a completely different and next generation Misty Lady — stronger, more durable and now AS5810 Certified Home Compostable as a finished vacuum seal bag.

More Than an Update. The product itself has changed.

Further development, prototyping and real-world testing while we took the product off the market focused on strength, durability, air extraction with newly engineered embossed film, seal integrity, freezer performance and oxygen and moisture barrier performance.

One of the most significant developments is certification of the finished Misty Lady vacuum seal bag to AS5810 Home Compostable.

Misty Lady is also reusable, food safe, PFAS-free, worm + soil safe and compatible with existing vacuum sealing systems.
